Westland, sister company to Great Lakes Boat Top Co., has been making Exact Fit Boat Covers for 30 years. We think we have The Best Fitting Boat Cover, if not The Best Boat Cover period. To determine if we were right, we tested our cover against others you can buy. See for yourself below:
Panels Designed to Direct Water Run Off Westland panels change direction to accommodate the natural path of water flow from the highest point on the boat to the lowest. If the panels of a boat cover are assembled like fish scales with the one on the right always under the one on the left, water will run under the seam as it runs off the front of the windshield. Westland panels are attached like shingles on a roof with the layering direction varying depending on placement so that water is always running over the seam, not under it like some competitor products.
Reinforced at ALL Wear Points Padded reinforcements made of an extra tough material are added at all vulnerable wear points of the boat cover to give maximum protection and extend the cover's life. Westland sews these reinforcements into the boat cover, while most competitors just glue them. Worse, many only reinforce the windshield, but Westland has multiple points of reinforcement.
Significantly reinforced to add longevity.
Same attention to detail paid to underside of the cover as the top.
